Blackwell Bate offer their not-for-profit clients independent examinations and help them with their accounting, budgeting and bookkeeping requirements.
Our director, Graham Roberts, brings many years experience as a trustee and treasurer for a local charity that supported over 50 people with learning difficulties and employed 100 people locally. The charity growing from a balance sheet of £250k to over £2m in less than 10 years. Graham is a big supporter of the local soup run and has helped Plymouth Round Table raise thousands of pounds of funding for worthy local causes, giving up his own time to help.
Our charity and not-for-profit clients can tap into this experience and have access to an adviser who understands the regulatory requirements and can also communicate on issues that face the sector in plain English. We understand what goes in to running a charity and the problems that trustees will face from a governance and financial perspective. This means we can tailor our services to provide the support that is required to help your not-for-profit organisation thrive.
