Your main focus in this role will be to provide a highly professional standard of service to designated clients, in preparing business accounts for Limited Companies, Partnerships, Sole Traders and associated tax computations ensuring that all statutory requirements, including deadlines, are met. Your specific duties will include:
•Preparation of working papers to support financial statements
•Preparation of tax computations and tax returns for client businesses and individuals
•Dealing with all communications (in whatever form) to and from clients, HMRC and other relevant organisations
•Providing support to a senior manager in all aspects of client work and relationships
•Maintenance and development of client relationships by identifying beneficial opportunities of a tax, accounting or business nature
This role is open to a person with a minimum of 5 years in general practice with demonstrated technical ability. Working knowledge of XERO Book Keeping and XERO work papers would be an advantage but not essential. You must be able to work within time frames and budgets as part of a busy friendly team.
